Eric Dehm

Eric Dehm is originally from Stamford, Connecticut — but over the last two decades has called many places home.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy out of high school, completing basic training at Great Lakes, Illinois, then being trained as a military journalist. During 13 years as a sailor, Eric’s assignments took him to sea, on USS Saipan and USS Frank Cable, and to places exotic: Iceland, Italy, Greece, Guam and Afghanistan. And not: Norfolk, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida.

Transitioning back to civilian life, he earned a bachelor’s degree at Hofstra University, where on the college’s award-winning radio station, WRHU, he hosted a morning program, did minor league baseball play-by-play and served as the station’s program director.

After graduation, his broadcasting career already on a fast-track, Eric moved to New York City where he worked as an editor and producer at the city’s top-rated all-news radio station, 1010 WINS. When not stuck in a sound-proof studio, he enjoys SCUBA diving, long rides on his Harley, and most of all, spending time with his wife and son.
