UMGC students

It just got even more affordable to earn your bachelor’s or master’s degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

From now through Jan. 31, UMGC is currently waiving its $50 application fee for graduate and undergraduate programs for new students, including current or former members of the military and their family members.  Doctoral programs and overseas campus locations are not included in the application fee waiver.

The application itself only takes about 10 minutes to complete. And, you don’t have to finish it all at once. You can save your information and come back and finish it later.

Active-duty Army, Army National Guard, and Army Reserve soldiers should apply to UMGC via GoArmyEd instead of using the application on the school’s website.

Formerly known at University Maryland University College, UMGC has been serving the higher education needs of American servicemen and women since 1947. Today, the university enrolls more than 50,000 active-duty service members, reservists, veterans and their family members.

You can attend an event online or in-person to learn more about UMGC’s programs.

In-person events are offered at military locations at various times throughout the year. There are also periodic Spotlight Events at locations throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area at various times. Be sure to check the events page for more information.

Military open houses are also held at UMGC’s nationwide locations throughout the year.

Sponsored by the University of Maryland Global Campus.
