John Rambo is back.

Sylvester Stallone will return to the big screen as Vietnam veteran and all around badass John Rambo in “Rambo Last Blood,” on Sept. 20. Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect from the Lionsgate film:

In the film, Rambo, a former Army Special Forces soldier who is an expert when it comes to hand-to-hand combat and guerilla warfare, heads to Mexico where he takes on a violent cartel that has snatched the daughter of one of his friends. “Rambo: Last Blood” also stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Yvette Monreal.

Stallone co-wrote the script with Matthew Cirulnick and Adrian Goldberg directs.

Stallone was 36 when he initially portrayed Rambo in the 1982 film “Rambo: First Blood,” which was based on David Morrell’s 1972 novel “First Blood.” He will be 73 when “Last Blood” hits the theaters later this year.

Rambo returned to theaters in 1985’s “Rambo: First Blood Part II.” In this installment of the series, Rambo returned to Vietnam to free a group of POWs. “Rambo III” followed in 1988, with “Rambo” following 20 years later in 2008.

The four Rambo films have made a combined $728 million at the worldwide box office, led by “Rambo: First Blood Part II” with $300 million.
