A Purple Heart veteran took it upon himself to jumpstart fundraising efforts in support of  President Trump's most contested campaign promise.

Building the wall.

Brian Kolfage, an Air Force triple amputee, is determined to see Trump's promise of a wall fulfilled and started a GoFundMe 'We The People Will Build The Wall' to do his part.

In just two days the campaign raised $1 million -- the total amount raised to date is $3,682,044  thanks to 59,858 donors. At one point on Wednesday, the campaign was raising $1,000 each minute.

According to the statement on the GoFundMe page, Kolfage feels 'deeply invested in this nation to ensure future generations have everything we have today.' Stating that he is neither a liberal nor conservative, Kolfage simply wants to protect the rights of the American people.

"If the 63 million people who voted for Trump each pledge $80, we can build the wall," the campaign's GoFundMe page reads. "That equates to roughly 5 Billion Dollars, even if we get half, that's half the wall. We can do this."

"Too many Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens," says Kolfage, "and too many illegals are taking advantage of the United States taxpayers with no means of ever contributing to our society."

This GoFundMe campaign is the latest effort to fund the walls, following on the heels of Republican Steve Palazzo's proposal that crowdfunding through border bonds become a viable option.

Kolfage's Go Fund The Wall Facebook page shows no shortage of supporters, as well as critics, for his plan.

Currently GoFundMe has a maximum fundraising limit of $1 billion dollars, Kolfage says he's working to increase the cap and also assured all donors that until he can get every cent of the donations released directly to fund the wall, he will withold all of the money raised.
