More than 50 military families will be honored at the Music Center at Strathmore's Holiday Pops concert performed by the National Philharmonic. The start of a new tradition, the concert will be conducted by Victoria Gau and will feature Helen Hayes Award-winning actress and soprano Iyona Black and members of the National Philharmonic Chorale.

“The USO-Metro partnership is not only rewarding, but so important to share the holiday spirit with many of our military families,” said Leanne Ferfolia, President of the National Philharmonic. The Philharmonic wants to give the gift of music and also show these families that we care and are blessed by their gift of freedom to us. A portion of every ticket will go to USO-Metro military families and I hope the community will come out to support them by attending.”
One week away! @NationalPhilharmonic will be hosting their Holiday Sing-Along with Guest Artist Iyona Blake, and a portion of every ticket sold will directly benefit our programs and events! Tickets available now: https://t.co/dk4RLiYVyH pic.twitter.com/gF6lleUQeH
