Calvin T. Hunter spent Dec. 10 volunteering for the Marine Corps Reserves' Toys for Tots charity drive in Ohio — before stealing $1,000 worth of the donated toys.

After volunteering, Hunter was observed taking the donated toys out the back door of 790 Easter Avenue in Akron, Oh. later that night — and there's surveillance video to prove it.

Hunter turned himself in to the Akron Police Department days later, and Akron Municipal Court set his bond for $10,000. His court appearance is schedule for Monday.

First Faith Development Corp. told the Associated Press that they have been receiving donations to help replace the stolen toys, including from the Akron Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 7.
