Navy Federal Credit Union account holders found themselves without access to accounts or services this morning — and it's not the first time this year that's happened.

Reports on social media described a service outage — autopay charges unfulfilled, online orders declined and in-person transactions unapproved. Some account holders weren't able to access accounts via the mobile app while others were having difficulty accessing accounts through desktop access. And some account holders said this is perhaps the third or fourth time this year that similar issues have arisen.

Calls to NFCU confirm that they were experiencing technical difficulties. They have since released a statement that the issue has been resolved.

"This morning, some members were unable to get certain information from our digital channels or contact center. We worked quickly to restore these services, and they are now fully restored. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our members," a NFCU spokesperson told Connecting Vets.
