The trailer for "1917" is out, and it brings a raw reality to World War I in the same way "Saving Private Ryan" changed how we view World War II.

The storyline of the movie has been kept somewhat a secret, but now we know that two young soldiers are sent on a one-day, do-or-die mission.

“Your orders are to deliver a message calling off tomorrow’s attack. If you don’t, we will lose 1,600 men -- your brother among them,” actor Colin Firth’s character says.

The movie, directed by Sam Mendes and starring Firth, Richard Madden and Benedict Cumberbatch, is due to be released in December 2019.
