Military Makeover

Montel Williams is way more than just a host of one of America’s most successful TV talk shows. Though he has more recently become an advocate, author, and entrepreneur, one of the most distinguishing facts about his career is how he went from enlisted Marine to Naval Intelligence Officer.

Lately, Williams has returned to his military and television roots, as the host of Military Makeover with Montel airing on Lifetime Television.

According to Military Makeover's website the show is, “a very special home improvement series that aims to respect those who have served our country, rebuild the homes—and even the lives—of these brave service men and women, and repay veterans for the service and sacrifices they’ve made for us.”

Williams talked about his support of veterans in a recent interview with US Veterans Magazine, “In the nearly three decades since I retired from the Navy, I’ve never really taken the uniform off because standing up for those who are serving now and those who have served has been the greatest honor of my professional career.”

Williams takes over hosting duties, replacing a legendary fellow Marine turned actor, R Lee Ermey, "The Gunny" who passed away on April 15, 2018.

Military Makeover is produced by Brandstar and airs on the Lifetime Network.
