US Army veteran, Sgt Boone Cutler is an author, columnist, suicide prevention speaker and "warfighter rights" leader. He holds the distinguished honor of being the first nationally recognized radio talk show personality who is also a combat veteran from the current war.

Boone’s Army experience began with the 82nd Airborne Division.  After completing an initial enlistment with the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, he moved to Southern California.  After watching the events of 9/11, he called and requested immediate activation. This time he was assigned to the 301st Tactical Psychological Operations Company, tasked with defeating insurgents in the deadly area of Sadr City, Iraq.  He endured daily combat missions and sustained severe head trauma from a mortar blast.  He was eventually sent to Walter Reed Army Medical Center with injuries to his, knee, shoulder, back, a TBI.  While at Walter Reed, he endured two years of rehabilitation that included heavy prescription drug therapy, commonly known as the “Combat Cocktail”.  He credits his recovery from several near-death episodes to medical marijuana, CBD oil and a rare stem cell therapy he discovered.

He continues to be an activist for these treatments and is the founder of The Spartan Pledge, which works to eliminate the veteran suicide epidemic. He is the author of the best-selling book Voodoo in Sadr City, and a radio personality in Reno, Nevada. he is actively involved in  LCPL Janos V Lutz Live to Tell Foundation .
