What did Google's Superbowl commercial get wrong about veterans?

Vets are more than their MOS.

On this episode of the CV Report we talk about Google's job search tool with veteran employment experts who say there's a better way to search for a job that grows off your military experience.

We also heard about some great career opportunities with companies like BP, Hilton, and HomeDepot:

"Unfortunately, a straight MOS translator to local jobs does lack a bit of nuance ... I always tell people, don't judge your life by that code." - Scoutcomms' CEO, Fred Wellman, a veteran who now advises corporations like Home Depot, BP and General Electric on veteran recruitment.

"This is an example of where the lack of understanding of military and the leadership skills don't translate from just the code 88M." - Duane France, Army veteran, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, author, and host of the "Head Space and Timing" podcast.
