You might have seen the hit show "To Catch a Predator" where Chris Hansen would confront sex offenders baited in by law enforcement members posing as children.

Hansen would sit them down and read the chat transcript which was nearly always the same. "You want to blank her blank," Hansen would say, redacting the offensive language from the transcript when he read it.

Unfortunately, sometimes a service member would come walking through Hansen's door, soon to be arrested by police.

A similar type of sting was recently run by the Killeen police department Special Victims Unit and the Texas Department of Public Safety Human Trafficking Program. Killeen is right next door to Fort Hood, where soldier Vanessa Guillen was stationed before she was recently murdered, allegedly by another soldier.

While talking to police officers posing as 15- and 16-year-old girls, the nine accused men from the Killeen area arranged deals to perform sex acts with the police decoys involving money, alcohol and drugs, AP reports. Of the nine men arrested, three turned out to be soldiers. Spc. Anthony Xavier Antwon assigned to 3rd Cavalry Regiment and Pfc. Timmy Jones Jr. with the 36th Engineer Brigade are both Fort Hood soldiers. A third soldier was also arrested who is stationed at Fort Sam Houston.

“Actions such as what these individuals have been charged with are not in keeping with Army values,” a spokesperson from Fort Hood told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram
