Every year veterans are dying from their exposure to toxic chemicals that came from burn pits in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Rosie Torres founded the organization Burn Pits 360 after watching her husband suffer from a lung disease caused by these toxins. She also witnessed the VA deny health care to veterans and Congress ignore the issue.

We talked with her about how Burn Pits 360 is now heading to Capitol Hill, along with a new bill to hopefully change that forever, and how the upcoming Military Toxic Exposures Conference will feature guests like Jon Stewart and former VA Secretary Dr. David Shulkin.

Watch the Military Toxic Exposures Conference Friday, August 28, 7p EST

Before he worked at one of the most successful veteran-owned brands in America, Tim Jensen was a grunt.

We talked with the Marine combat veteran about the massive growth of the Grunt Style T-Shirt brand, how he went from folding shirts to COO, and why he’s fighting for his fellow vets suffering from diseases related to toxic exposures.

Jensen will moderate the upcoming Military Toxic Exposures Conference, August 28, 7 p.m. EST

The event will stream live on the Grunt Style Facebook page.
