According to members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, nearly 200 confederate flags were stolen from a cemetery in Virginia on Veterans Day.

First reported by WHSV, Camp #10 commander Phillip Way said the group placed flags on the graves of confederate soldiers at Woodbine Cemetery in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

The organization does this every year on Veterans Day but he noticed the flags were missing as he drove by the cemetery on Monday evening.

"We are all related in our camp somewhere back down the family tree to Confederate veterans, we find it honorable to salute them," Way told WHSV.

The Sons are currently offering $500 for the arrest and conviction of the individual behind the missing flags.
