LIVE: Memorial service for last surviving Doolittle Raider

A memorial service honoring the life of Lt. Col. Richard "Dick" Cole, the last surviving  Doolittle Tokyo Raiders is being held today at Randolph Air Force Base in Texas.

Cole was Lt. Col. Jimmy Doolittle’s co-pilot during the April 18, 1942 airstrikes on targets in and around Tokyo after following Pearl Harbor. Cole passed away earlier this month on April 9 at 103 years old.

Many distinguished guests are expected to attend this remembrance ceremony including Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein and Secretary Heather Wilson.
