Three members of the renowned Army Parachute Team are in the hospital following a training accident, U.S. Army Recruiting Command said Tuesday.

The Golden Knights were “participating in a routine night training operation” near Homestead Air Reserve Base, about 34 miles south of Miami, Florida.

The injuries occurred around 4:00 a.m., according to the statement. The three service members are being treated at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in Miami.

Officials said the incident is under investigation.

The Golden Knights parachute demonstration team is based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, but typically spends their winters in Homestead, Florida.

Soldiers assigned to the team are often seen skydiving at various high-profile events around the country, including air shows, sporting events—both college and professional, and parades.
